Our History

Pierre Gimonnet & Fils, a name inextricably linked with Champagne, was created by Pierre, who laid the foundations of today’s vineyards in 1925. Michel, his son, set out to be one of the forerunners of meticulous and ambitious winemaking and to create this “Estate taste”.

Today, Olivier and Didier, the founder’s grandsons, have been carrying on this work since the 1980s. They express their originality as true creators of “identity” Champagnes, as an expression of their envied Champagne terroirs.

The younger generation, Pierre-Guillaume and Arnaud have recently joined the estate. Ambitious but respectful of the work and assets of previous generations, their approach aims for even more environmentally friendly viticulture.

Passionate and attentive to their terroirs and their environment, the Gimonnet family produces delicate, mineral cuvées, representative of an exceptional terroir and a know-how handed down and improved from generation to generation.
