Our History

While the historic vineyards of Champagne Duménil have been in Chigny-les-roses since 1874, it is in Sacy, in the historic village of Hugues Poret, where you can meet the family. Frédérique Poret, the estates great-granddaughter, will take you on a journey back in time by discovering the different vintages, the historical know-how that has made the estate famous.

Hugues manages the 100% Premier Cru vineyards in the heart of the Montagne de Reims with the utmost respect for nature. The champagnes produced are designed to preserve the fruitiness, freshness, and finesse of the terroir, after long ageing in the cellar.
